About The Position

Navan is seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Marketing Manager to drive the strategic direction and positioning for its products, with a primary focus on its AI initiatives for business travel. This role serves as a bridge between product, sales, and marketing, ensuring that Navan's capabilities are effectively positioned, communicated, and understood by prospects and customers. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing compelling messaging, translating new product capabilities into impactful value propositions, and creating marketing strategies that fuel growth and engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, AI, and tech, possesses strong storytelling skills, and thrives at the intersection of product and go-to-market strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product marketing experience, preferably within AI, travel, SaaS, and/or tech, with a track record of launching and growing B2B products.
  • A passion and deep knowledge of AI-focused solutions, including trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape, is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders effectively, including across multiple time zones.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex product features into customer benefits and compelling marketing messages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and creating engaging content. The ability to write well is essential.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to measure performance and inform decision-making.
  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Positioning and Messaging: Work with Product and Sales to define target audiences and craft clear, compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates Navan’s capabilities in the market.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new and existing products, ensuring successful adoption and engagement.
  • Market Insights: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Enablement and Field teams to develop tools, training, and resources that enhance their ability to sell Navan’s products effectively.
  • Content Creation: Create a variety of marketing materials, including product collateral, case studies, white papers, and blog posts that highlight the value of Navan’s capabilities. Ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to design and execute marketing campaigns that drive product awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, using data to optimize strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, customer success, and other teams to align on product strategy and execution.
