Senior Product Manager Platform & Integrations

Chamber Cardio•Washington, DC
•Remote

About The Position

Chamber is rebuilding the cardiology system by partnering with independent cardiologists and providing technology, data, and operational tools to support population health and better patient care. Its model combines clinical expertise, thoughtful design, and a modern operating platform connecting physicians, patients, and payers. The Senior Product Manager owns the platform capabilities and integrations that connect Chamber to the broader healthcare ecosystem. This technical, systems-oriented role spans healthcare interoperability, third-party integrations, APIs, data exchange, and shared platform infrastructure. The role works with EHRs, health information exchanges, payer data platforms, clinical data networks, and communications and operational services such as telephony, messaging, fax, and email. The product manager owns the integration roadmap, leads technical discovery, turns complex requirements into engineering priorities, and works with internal teams and external partners to deliver capabilities. The role also develops reusable patterns, shared services, and a long-term platform strategy to support ecosystem growth while limiting complexity and operational overhead. It calls for technical fluency and sound product judgment, with hands-on ownership and a direct impact on how Chamber scales. The position is remote within the United States, with the ability to work ET or CT hours. The employee must be legally authorized to work in the US; Chamber cannot sponsor visas. Periodic travel to Chamber offices, partner sites, or team offsites may be required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, with real ownership of technical platforms, APIs, or complex third-party integrations.
  • At least 2 years of experience delivering integrations in healthcare technology, including EHRs, payer systems, clinical data exchange, or health information networks.
  • Strong technical fluency, including REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, data models, and asynchronous integration patterns.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
  • A track record of working with engineers and architects to turn ambiguous, multi-system problems into clear requirements and executable roadmaps.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Ability to work ET or CT hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a software engineer, solutions architect, technical implementation lead, or integration engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve Chamber's roadmap for interoperability, external integrations, APIs, and supporting platform capabilities.
  • Translate clinical, operational, and business needs into product requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and actionable technical initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to build reusable integration frameworks, shared services, and platform capabilities instead of relying on one-off implementations.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data, Clinical, and Operations to evaluate architectural tradeoffs, integration patterns, and build-versus-buy decisions, and ensure integrations deliver measurable value.
  • Balance immediate integration needs with longer-term investments in reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead discovery, technical scoping, and delivery of integrations across EHRs, health information exchanges, payer systems, clinical data networks, and other healthcare technology platforms.
  • Develop an understanding of clinical and administrative data moving through Chamber's ecosystem, including patient identity, encounters, medications, clinical records, claims, eligibility, and care coordination information.
  • Work with engineering and external partners to define data mappings, synchronization requirements, API contracts, and integration workflows.
  • Drive improvements in data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across connected systems.
  • Help establish scalable approaches to data ingestion, normalization, identity resolution, reconciliation, and bidirectional synchronization.
  • Ensure interoperability solutions account for healthcare privacy, security, consent, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Own the product lifecycle of integrations with external technology providers, including communications platforms, workflow tools, and operational infrastructure.
  • Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering with prospective vendors and integration partners, evaluating capabilities, limitations, dependencies, and implementation complexity.
  • Work with partner product and engineering teams to define integration requirements, align delivery plans, and coordinate joint roadmaps.
  • Contribute to technical due diligence, vendor evaluation, and build-versus-buy assessments with Engineering, Security, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate fragmented capabilities, reduce vendor dependencies, and improve the consistency of shared platform services.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of existing integrations, their capabilities, operational health, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate complex system interactions and integration requirements into product specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation priorities from technical discovery through rollout and iteration.
  • Establish expectations for integration reliability, observability, error handling, data reconciliation, and recovery from failures.
  • Help define measures of integration health, including data freshness, completeness, processing failures, manual intervention, and time to onboard new partners.
  • Partner with engineering teams to identify recurring operational issues and prioritize durable solutions over temporary workarounds.
  • Build relationships with Engineering, Data, Operations, and technology partners; map priority integrations and dependencies; and identify opportunities to improve reliability, simplify complexity, or accelerate delivery.
  • Independently drive technical discovery and execution for high-impact initiatives and lead major interoperability and third-party integration initiatives through production rollout.
  • Establish consistent expectations for technical scoping, integration readiness, monitoring, and ongoing support, and invest in shared platform capabilities and a deliberate long-term platform strategy.
