Dropzone AI

About The Position

Dropzone AI is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead its Integrations and Platform squads. The role focuses on making customer deployments work from day one and continue working at scale, with the shared outcome of reducing the time from contract signature to trusted, self-serve coverage of a customer’s full signal estate. The position is a senior individual contributor role embedded in product, engineering, and design trios. The Product Manager owns customer problems, business outcomes, prioritization, and validation, and reports to the Head of Product. The Integrations squad works to connect eligible signal sources to Dropzone’s AI SOC Team with complete, deduplicated data. The Platform squad builds self-service customer administration capabilities, including tenant management for MSSPs, access control, audit trails, case management, and governed response actions. The role includes deciding which integrations to build, partner for, or decline, and ensuring response actions follow a governed progression from recommendation through verification and learning, with human-defined authorization and a verifiable trail. The Product Manager will conduct ongoing customer discovery, define and instrument customer-level coverage and self-service metrics, prioritize integration needs, and turn enterprise and MSSP administration workflows into configurable product capabilities. They will ship in small increments, measure outcomes, and help shape Dropzone’s product operating model. The job is remote from the employee’s home with company-provided equipment, and includes semi-frequent local and national travel, with some overnight travel expected. The base salary range is $175,000–$190,000 USD. Dropzone states that compensation is determined by factors including location, skills, education, and experience. Compensation packages include significant new-hire equity grants. Benefits include company-paid health insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, self-managed PTO, parental leave, and more.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years owning platform, integrations, or infrastructure-adjacent products for technical customers with quiet failure modes.
  • Experience shipping products in security, observability, data infrastructure, or an adjacent domain, with the ability to discuss how alerts move from an EDR or SIEM into a case.
  • A demonstrated discovery practice, including the ability to explain a mistaken assumption and how it was identified before shipping.
  • A track record of outcome-based roadmaps that changed measurable customer behavior rather than consisting of feature lists.
  • Ability to decline customer requests and explain the reasoning in terms an account executive can repeat.
  • Strong written communication, particularly in documents for stakeholders who were not present in meetings.
  • Habit of distinguishing facts from inferences and noticing when others do not.
  • Preference for focused ownership and deep work within a small, accountable team.

Nice To Haves

  • Cybersecurity or security operations domain experience.
  • Experience with MSSP, multi-tenant, or regulated deployment models.
  • Experience at Series A–C companies with small, fast-moving product teams.
  • Familiarity with continuous discovery, Jobs to Be Done (JTBD), and outcome-oriented product operating models.
  • Hands-on fluency with data and telemetry tooling, or code-based prototyping.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as product lead in two cross-functional trios alongside engineering and design, owning each squad’s customer problem, business outcome, and prioritization.
  • Conduct continuous discovery with SOC analysts, SOC managers, MSSP operators, and platform administrators, speaking with customers weekly.
  • Define and instrument metrics that show, for each customer, whether their signal estate is fully covered and whether they reached coverage without assistance.
  • Run the integration prioritization process, reconciling requests from sales, proofs of concept, customer success, and production telemetry.
  • Decide which integration categories Dropzone builds, partners for, or declines, and document the reasoning.
  • Turn administration, tenant, audit, and access workflows into products that enterprise and MSSP customers can configure themselves, including governance controls required by regulated buyers.
  • Own the response action surface and its maturity model: recommend, preview, approve, execute, verify, and learn; ensure execution requires human-defined authorization and a verifiable trail.
  • Ship in small increments, measure impact, and adjust; ensure every release has a stated problem, intended outcome, metric, and named validation owner.
  • Contribute to defining Dropzone’s product operating model for discovery, prioritization, and releases.

Benefits

  • Company-paid health insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer match
  • Self-managed PTO
