Salesforce•San Francisco, CA
•$172,500 - $260,100

About The Position

Salesforce is hiring a Senior Product Manager for AgentExchange Trust & Security. AgentExchange is a platform where partners build, publish, monetize, and manage applications, AI agents, APIs, and services for Salesforce customers. This role owns product experiences that help keep the marketplace safe, high quality, and efficient to publish on, including partner security reviews, listing quality, compliance, and ongoing trust capabilities. The position aims to help partners reach the market faster while maintaining trust, scalability, and operational excellence. The Product Manager will own the roadmap for security review from submission through findings, resubmission, and ongoing review; improve partner-facing review workflows through clearer guidance, status, feedback, and automation; and work with security teams to incorporate scanning, tooling, and AI-assisted capabilities. The role also connects onboarding, approval, review, and publishing into a consistent experience; establishes listing quality and trust standards; and builds capabilities to keep marketplace listings current. The manager will define marketplace health metrics, use research, experiments, prototypes, and data to guide product investment, and align cross-functional teams from discovery through launch and iteration.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a complex, cross-functional product surface; ideally in enterprise SaaS, developer platforms, marketplaces, or partner ecosystems.
  • Track record of building a product roadmap, aligning stakeholders around it, and shipping from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Working knowledge of security, compliance, or governance concepts, and experience partnering with security or risk teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience defining metrics and using data to drive decisions.
  • Experience building products for developers, partners, or enterprise administrators.
  • Hands-on proficiency using generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini in product workflows, including research, synthesis, prototyping, and drafting briefs and PRDs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with security review, trust and safety, or listing quality and compliance programs, ideally for an app store, marketplace, or partner ecosystem.
  • Experience automating review, approval, or other operational workflows through product investment.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, MCP, or agentic platforms and the security considerations they raise.
  • Familiarity with APIs, platform extensibility, or developer-facing tooling.
  • Comfort working in an environment where foundations are still being built and priorities evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for the partner security review experience, from submission through findings, resubmission, and ongoing re-review.
  • Reduce the time and effort partners need to pass security review through guided submission, clearer status and feedback, and automation of manual steps.
  • Partner with Security Engineering and Security Operations to bring scanning, review tooling, and AI-assisted capabilities into partner-facing products, including for AI agents and MCP servers.
  • Make onboarding, approval, security review, and publishing a consistent experience without friction or repeated data entry.
  • Define and improve listing quality and trust standards, including compliance requirements and customer-facing signals for choosing solutions.
  • Build capabilities to keep the catalog current and trustworthy, including re-review, compliance enforcement, and retirement of outdated listings.
  • Partner with Partner Console and marketplace experience teams to deliver consistent trust and quality capabilities for partners and customers.
  • Define and instrument marketplace health metrics and use results to determine where to invest, scale, change, or stop.
  • Write briefs, PRDs, and user stories, and drive work from discovery through launch and iteration; use experiments and prototypes to validate ideas before significant engineering investment.
  • Align Engineering, UX, Security, Operations, Partner Success, Legal, and Finance around a shared vision and plan; represent partner needs in prioritization and communicate progress and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
