About The Position

The Senior Product Manager leads the strategy and execution for a complex product or product family, leveraging deep customer insights and market analysis to drive significant business impact. This role defines product vision, manages roadmaps, and guides cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. The position requires expertise in technology, data-driven decision making, and agile methodologies to optimize product outcomes. The Senior Product Manager mentors peers, influences stakeholders, and ensures alignment with business objectives while fostering innovation and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. The Fulfillment Automation Software team develops and scales advanced automation solutions across Walmart’s fulfillment network. They integrate third-party automation software with in-house Warehouse Management and Control Systems to ensure seamless, reliable, and cost-effective operations. Focused on innovation and continuous improvement, the team applies data-driven decision making and agile methodologies to enhance product strategy and lifecycle management. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, they deliver impactful solutions that optimize fulfillment processes and support Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing complex products or product families with strong strategic and technical orientation.
  • Proven ability to define product vision and strategy through competitive analysis and market opportunity identification.
  • Expertise in project and stakeholder management to align cross-functional teams and drive product delivery.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including advanced analytics and experimentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and product roadmap development.
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor and influence without direct authority.
  • Skilled in leveraging technology and AI to enhance product outcomes and innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management.
  • 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
  • Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies
