Senior Product Manager, Claims Data

Turquoise•San Diego, CA
•$159,000 - $210,000•Remote

About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager on Turquoise Health’s Data Product team, you will own the strategy for claims data, from sourcing and ingestion to use across the company’s products. You will ensure claims data is high quality, well understood, and easy for other teams to use. The role requires understanding the terms and constraints attached to each data source, healthcare claims infrastructure, and how claims inform pricing and reimbursement. You will manage external data partnerships, shape reliable and flexible ingestion, improve data quality and mapping, and make claims data reusable across product teams. You will also bring claims data into AI and analytics experiences. At times, you will shape customer-facing tools for organizations sharing claims data, support internal client projects and analyses, and maintain reusable claims dimensions and benchmarking tables. This is a fully remote role for US-based candidates. Turquoise operates on US business hours and does not sponsor employment visas for this position.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience.
  • Direct experience with healthcare claims data and pricing mechanics, including how claims are adjudicated and paid against contracted rates.
  • Working knowledge of how healthcare stakeholders—including payers, providers, life sciences, employers and brokers, digital health companies, and care navigation organizations—use data to make decisions.
  • Ability to treat internal teams as customers and balance proactive, self-directed roadmap work with planning around other teams’ timelines.
  • Data fluency sufficient to reason clearly about data models, tradeoffs, and definitions without owning or building the technical pipeline.
  • Collaborative, low-ego approach to work with broad organizational impact.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves
