About The Position

Auth0, an Okta company, builds customer identity products for developers. This role is for a highly technical product manager who will develop customer-focused product strategy and drive Auth0’s AI portfolio, particularly products for AI agents. The team focuses on agent identity, access management, and protocols that extend trust to customers’ AI products, including enterprise agents and personal agents acting on behalf of individuals. The product manager will own and build new capabilities, from defining and prototyping ideas to launching secure, production-grade products. The role involves translating AI product vision into technical requirements, managing the backlog, gathering feedback from developers and customers, and applying emerging AI and identity standards. The position also partners with go-to-market teams to support launches and adoption through technical enablement, documentation, and messaging.

Requirements

5–7+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of building agentic products.
Ability to write code, work directly with APIs and SDKs, and build prototypes to validate customer and developer needs.
Experience defining and shipping successful API or SDK products for developers.
Strong understanding of identity protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML, and AI protocols and technologies including MCP and mTLS.
Demonstrated success building and launching products, features, or programs from scratch and executing technical roadmaps to scale them.
Strong execution bias and experience with rapid prototyping.
Ability to understand developer pain points, security requirements, and AI experience friction, and translate them into compelling, secure, integrated product experiences.
Comfort working with technical API specifications, data schemas, and AI standards while collaborating on go-to-market strategy.
Ability to drive alignment and lead through influence across engineering, design, product marketing, developer relations, and sales.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex technical architectures, developer workflows, and product value to internal teams and external developers.
Genuine enthusiasm for AI and demonstrable interest in the future of secure identity for users and agents.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the AI product strategy and roadmap for Auth0’s AI portfolio, with a focus on Auth0 for AI Agents.
Identify tactical integration opportunities and ecosystem partnerships that secure agentic workflows and provide value to developers.
Define, prototype, and launch new capabilities for AI applications, balancing rapid experimentation with the engineering discipline needed to scale secure, production-grade products.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and security teams; translate the AI product vision into technical requirements and manage the backlog for timely delivery of developer-friendly features.
Gather feedback from developers and early adopters, uncover AI implementation pain points, and validate products against real-world needs, including those of organizations building personal agents.
Strategize and implement emerging standards in AI and identity, including Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent interoperability, and protocols for trusted agentic experiences.
Partner with Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Sales to support product launches.
Create technical enablement assets, documentation, and messaging to drive adoption of secure AI products.
