About The Position

interface.ai is an agentic AI platform for financial services, serving credit unions and community banks. Its products are used by more than 100 banks and credit unions and reach over 10 million people. The company is developing an AI-first contact center and an AI-native consumer banking experience. The Senior Product Manager owns outcomes for a defined subdomain or initiative. The role shapes and defends a roadmap within direction set by domain leadership, partners closely with a senior engineer on technical tradeoffs, and mentors other PMs. The position involves working with moderate ambiguity and using AI tools daily to prototype, analyze, and accelerate work. This is an onsite role based in San Francisco. H-1B transfers are welcome.

Requirements

3–5 years of product management experience, including ownership of outcomes for at least one product area.
Comfort with moderate ambiguity and the ability to develop a concrete plan within direction set by leadership.
Technical fluency to engage directly with engineers on tradeoffs, not just requirements.
First-principles problem-solving and comfort working at startup pace while building processes where none exist.
A daily, hands-on AI-native workflow.
Based in San Francisco and committed to working onsite.

Nice To Haves

Experience in financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry.
Experience with conversational AI, voice, or agentic systems.
Experience mentoring a junior PM.
Experience shipping a 0-to-1 product within a larger organization.

Responsibilities

Own outcomes for a defined subdomain or initiative, including evaluating whether the work succeeded.
Sequence and defend a roadmap for the assigned area within the direction set by domain leadership.
Engage directly with an engineering partner to debate technical tradeoffs.
Mentor PMs working within the area.
Use AI tools daily to prototype, analyze, and accelerate product work.
Turn partly conflicting inputs into a clear plan and defend that plan to engineering and management.
