About The Position

Point is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the broker product experience for Point for Brokers, its channel through which mortgage brokers and loan officers offer Point’s home equity investment to clients. The program is live, partners are onboarded, and this role will take over work already in flight, run it end to end, and identify integrations and other opportunities to grow the channel. The product experience includes a broker portal for submitting and tracking files, tools for qualifying clients, and integrations with the systems brokers already use. The Senior Product Manager works with a dedicated engineering and design team and partners with Sales, Broker Operations, and Compliance. The role owns delivery across multiple workstreams, drives the broker roadmap, defines and evaluates outcomes, and ensures releases work in practice. This is a remote position for candidates who reside in one of Point’s listed states of operation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience.
  • Experience shipping major features in a B2B, B2B2C, or partner-facing product where the product user is not the end customer.
  • Experience taking over an in-flight product or program and improving its results.
  • Ability to write SQL and use analytics tools such as Sigma or PostHog, along with AI, to form hypotheses and measure outcomes.
  • Ability to sketch wireframes and provide specific, usable design feedback.
  • Ability to build alignment with Sales, Operations, and Compliance partners without direct authority, and to escalate when alignment fails.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mortgage brokers, loan officers, or third-party origination (TPO) channels.
  • Experience with partner portals or Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Experience scoping API integrations with third-party platforms.
  • Experience in mortgage, lending, fintech, or real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery across multiple broker workstreams, from discovery and requirements through launch and adoption.
  • Drive the broker roadmap and connect projects to channel goals such as loan officer activation, submission quality, and funded volume.
  • Write specifications for major features and manage Jira tickets through the SDLC process.
  • Make scope, design, and technical trade-offs with engineering and design, and determine which decisions to escalate.
  • Speak weekly with loan officers, processors, and brokerage owners; combine their feedback with support cases, session recordings, and funnel data to make product recommendations.
  • Define instrumentation and success metrics before launch, analyze results afterward, and recommend next steps.
  • Scope and evaluate integrations with mortgage industry systems, including pricing engines and loan origination systems.
  • Partner with Broker Operations and Compliance to ensure features work in practice, including task routing, document handling, and state-by-state rules.
  • QA releases spanning interrelated features, triage bugs, and decide what blocks a launch.
  • Report status, results, and risks to Product leadership and channel stakeholders proactively.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, with flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options.
  • Unlimited paid time off and 10 company holidays.
  • Fully remote work and access to an in-person office environment at the downtown Palo Alto headquarters.
  • Paid parental leave, including a state Paid Family Leave supplement to 100% of regular base pay and two additional paid weeks; up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave in states without PFL; and 4 weeks of fully paid transition time at 2–3 workdays per week.
  • Equity.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Guaranteed life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • Monthly internet, mobile plan, and wellness stipends.
  • One-time home office reimbursement.
  • Company-provided equipment, including a MacBook and monitor.
