About The Position

Medallia is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the platform powering Medallia's omnichannel signal collection. This role owns the systems that ingest, route, and deliver feedback at Fortune 100 scale, serving as the engine for sophisticated customer experience programs. The Product Manager will manage established systems, balancing current operations with building next-generation capabilities, and will work closely with the Listen Experience Applications team to evolve omnichannel listening. This strategic role focuses on enabling customers to gather feedback effectively across various touchpoints, unlocking insights, and empowering real-time action to improve Customer Experience (CX).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, focused on data infrastructure, integration platforms, or messaging and communications infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ownership of production data movement infrastructure at scale (e.g., ETL/ELT pipelines, event streaming, message queues, integration middleware).
  • Demonstrated ownership of high-volume outbound delivery infrastructure (e.g., email, SMS, push, event distribution), including operational aspects like throughput, retries, and failure handling.
  • Strong systems thinking with a track record of defining component boundaries, contracts, and standards for multiple engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience modernizing inherited or proprietary systems, including sequencing migration work against a live production system.
  • Fluency in reliability engineering concepts as they apply to product decisions (SLAs, SLOs, latency/throughput trade-offs, reliability costs).
  • Comfort with ambiguity and driving initiatives from strategy through operationalization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with customer data platforms, marketing delivery platforms, or CPaaS products.
  • Experience with streaming and pipeline technologies such as Kafka or equivalent event infrastructure.
  • Experience owning a platform capability in a multi-tenant enterprise environment with per-tenant configuration and isolation requirements.
  • Experience with a Customer Experience Management platform.
  • Experience in an agile development environment and familiarity with tools such as Productboard and JIRA.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end collection pipeline, from signal arrival through processing, persistence, rules evaluation, and action, ensuring data lands correctly and completely at volume.
  • Own outbound delivery as a platform capability, managing the broadcast layer for pre-send processing and distribution to consumers at scale, ensuring reliability, throughput, and deliverability.
  • Own the strategy for the existing proprietary collection stack, determining what to keep, modernize, or replace, and sequencing this work without interrupting current business operations.
  • Set, instrument, and hold reliability and performance targets for infrastructure used by other product teams, including SLAs, SLOs, throughput ceilings, and failure behavior.
  • Partner with engineering on pipeline architecture, queueing and streaming design, and operational tooling for large-scale collection.
  • Collaborate across teams, aligning integrations, ISV, social, survey, and platform product managers on consistent collection behavior across the platform.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Short-term and long-term disability
  • Life and AD&D insurance
