About The Position

Rocket Travel by Agoda is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Product Systems to build systems, data, and AI workflows that improve how its product organization operates. The role will develop tools and processes for core product loops, including idea-to-business-case, specification-to-test, release-to-health-check, and question-to-decision. The initial focus is the product organization, with successful approaches later extending across the broader technology organization and the rest of the company. This is a hands-on builder role. The Senior Product Manager will design end-to-end systems connecting sources of truth to users and AI agents, build prototypes and tools, and develop agent workflows for non-engineering teams. The role also focuses on adoption, quality, measurable organizational impact, and leading change through coaching and collaboration. The position works closely with Engineering, Analytics, platform teams, product colleagues, business partners, and senior leadership.

Requirements

  • A track record of personally building real applications end to end, professionally or outside work, and the ability to explain data models, APIs, and integration choices.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to design information flows and systems of record across tools and teams.
  • Hands-on fluency with AI systems, including context engineering, APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluations, agent orchestration, and MCP.
  • Daily use of coding agents and other AI tools, with the ability to keep up as they evolve.
  • Technical foundations in code, logic, databases, APIs, and strong data skills such as SQL, Python, or similar.
  • Ability to build working solutions and earn the respect of engineers.
  • Product craft and ability to design tools for ordinary users and drive adoption.
  • Clear thinking and excellent written and verbal communication in English, including the ability to explain complex systems to executives and new hires.
  • Comfort leading change without formal authority across teams and time zones.
  • 5–10 years of product management experience.
  • Background in software engineering, including experience developing and launching products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness and ability to work a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the stated physical office, unless otherwise indicated.
  • Authorization to accept employment in the United States from any employer.

Nice To Haves

  • Side projects such as apps, tools, automations, or experiments built out of curiosity.
  • Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or workflow automation that changed how a team worked.
  • Experience rolling out a tool or workflow across a team, training users, gathering feedback, and sustaining use after launch.

Responsibilities

  • Map recurring product-organization workflows and identify where time, quality, and clarity are lost.
  • Prioritize workflows for systematization and define measurable success criteria, such as cycle time, work completed without manual effort, and override rates.
  • Define problems clearly and co-architect solutions using AI.
  • Design end-to-end systems connecting sources of truth with users and agents, including systems of record, APIs, agent interfaces, and cross-system workflows.
  • Build working tools and prototypes, then develop the most useful into dependable applications.
  • Build and orchestrate AI agents for non-engineering teams that use systems of record, apply rubrics and evaluations, and escalate to people when appropriate.
  • Define rubrics, evaluations, and quality standards so systems can improve over time.
  • Engage PMs, analysts, engineers, and business partners as customers; observe their work and design tools they will use.
  • Measure adoption and impact, retire unused tools, and make systems extensible so other product managers can contribute agents and automations.
  • Lead AI-related change in the product organization through coaching, demonstrations, enablement, and building a community of builders.
  • Extend successful approaches to the broader technology organization and partner with Engineering, Analytics, and platform teams to co-own systems and increase AI velocity.
  • Define metrics for organizational impact and report results and successes to senior leadership.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Eligibility to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
