About The Position

Rocket Travel by Agoda is hiring a Senior Product Manager, Product Systems to build systems, data, tools, and AI workflows that improve how its product organization works. The role will streamline recurring product processes—from idea to business case, specification to testing, release to health check, and question to decision—so teams can ship more predictably and make better decisions faster. The initial focus is the product organization, with the opportunity to extend successful systems to the broader technology organization and help shape company-wide transformation. This is a hands-on builder role. The Senior Product Manager will design end-to-end systems connecting sources of truth with the people and AI agents that use them; prototype tools and harden successful prototypes into dependable applications; and build AI agents for non-engineering teams. The role also defines quality through rubrics and evaluations, designs for adoption, measures impact, enables colleagues to build and use AI systems, and reports results to senior leadership. The position collaborates with Engineering, Analytics, platform teams, product colleagues, and business partners.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of product management experience.
  • Background in software engineering, including experience developing and launching products.
  • Track record of building real applications end to end, professionally or outside work, and ability to explain data models, APIs, integration choices, and design rationale.
  • Strong systems thinking, including the ability to understand information flows between tools and teams and design systems around a reliable source of truth.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI systems, including context engineering, APIs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluations, agent orchestration, and MCP.
  • Daily use of coding agents and other AI tools, with an ability to keep up with changes in those tools.
  • Solid technical foundations in code, logic, databases, APIs, and data skills such as SQL or Python.
  • Ability to build working tools and earn engineers’ respect.
  • Product craft and ability to design tools for adoption by ordinary users, not only engineers.
  • Clear thinking and excellent written and verbal communication in English, including explaining complex systems to executives and new hires.
  • Ability to lead change without formal authority across teams and time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Personal side projects such as apps, tools, automations, or experiments.
  • Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or workflow automation that changed how a team worked.
  • Experience rolling out a tool or workflow across a team, training users, gathering feedback, and sustaining use after launch.

Responsibilities

  • Map recurring product-organization workflows and identify where time, quality, and clarity are lost.
  • Prioritize workflows for systematization using clear success measures, such as cycle time, the share of work completed without manual effort, and override rates.
  • Clarify problems and co-architect solutions using AI.
  • Design end-to-end systems that connect sources of truth with users and agents, including systems of record, APIs, agent interfaces, and workflows.
  • Build and prototype tools, then develop successful prototypes into applications people rely on.
  • Build and orchestrate AI agents for non-engineering teams that retrieve information from systems of record, apply rubrics and evaluations, and hand off to people when appropriate.
  • Define rubrics, evaluations, and quality standards so systems can improve over time.
  • Engage PMs, analysts, engineers, and business partners as customers; observe their work and design useful tools for them.
  • Measure adoption and impact, and retire tools that are not used.
  • Make systems extensible so other product managers can contribute agents and automations.
  • Coach colleagues, demonstrate capabilities, run enablement, and grow a community of builders to support AI-enabled change.
  • Partner with Engineering, Analytics, and platform teams to co-own systems and increase AI velocity across the product and broader technology organizations.
  • Define organizational impact metrics and report results and successes to senior leadership.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary.
  • Eligibility for an annual bonus.
  • Eligibility for an equity grant.
