About The Position

We’re looking for a product leader to own the strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional execution of FlowAuth’s prior authorization product across key specialties, with oncology as the primary focus due to its clinical complexity and strategic importance. You’ll be accountable for the end-to-end success of the product across oncology, diagnostic imaging, cardiology, GI, orthopedics, and other high-volume specialties. You’ll define product direction, prioritize investments, lead engineering and clinical/content teams, and work closely with customers, partners, Sales, and Product Marketing. For oncology, you’ll be the subject matter expert—owning clinical criteria, workflows, and documentation requirements based on NCCN Guidelines and payer-specific policies—while ensuring the product remains clinically current, scalable, and audit-ready.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software product management experience with ownership of an end-to-end roadmap and cross-functional execution.
  • Direct oncology prior authorization experience with strong understanding of diagnoses, treatment regimens, PA workflows, submission, and payer adjudication.
  • Working knowledge of NCCN Guidelines and their application to PA clinical criteria.
  • Experience with CMS-0057 interoperability requirements, including PAS, CRD, and DTR APIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Provider-side experience preferred (oncology practice, health system, or provider-facing PA platform); payer-side oncology utilization management experience is also valuable.
  • Proven ability to lead or partner closely with engineering, design, and clinical/content teams.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to work effectively with customers, leadership, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall FlowAuth PA product strategy and roadmap across specialties, balancing oncology depth with broader product growth.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on customer, clinical, and business impact.
  • Conduct market and competitive research, with particular depth in oncology and value-based oncology care.
  • Define product success metrics and use product analytics/data to measure outcomes and guide decisions.
  • Own oncology PA strategy, including diagnosis- and regimen-level criteria based on NCCN Guidelines and payer policies.
  • Bring deep expertise in oncology PA workflows across chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation oncology, and supportive care.
  • Direct the translation of evolving NCCN Guidelines and payer policies into product requirements.
  • Partner with engineering, AI, clinical content, and support teams to build and maintain the oncology criteria engine.
  • Define the roadmap for electronic PA submission across specialties, moving customers from manual/portal workflows toward API-based solutions such as FHIR PAS, CRD, and DTR.
  • Build partnerships and interoperability relationships with payers, benefit managers, and other ecosystem participants.
  • Act as the executive product owner for customer outcomes across the specialty portfolio.
  • Engage directly with practice leaders, PA teams, and clinical staff to validate workflows, criteria, and product priorities.
  • Direct engineering and clinical/content priorities, partnering with leadership on staffing, sequencing, and delivery.
  • Coordinate launches with Sales and Product Marketing and represent the product with customers, leadership, and partners.
  • Partner with platform teams to ensure specialty workflows integrate with FlowAuth’s EHR and payer connectivity capabilities.
  • Own product documentation, clinical criteria change logs, testing/beta requirements, and customer-facing training.
