About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a full-time Prior Authorization Specialist to obtain pre-certifications and authorizations for services ordered or scheduled by hospital departments. The specialist works with hospital departments and insurance companies and focuses on prior authorization for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. The role is remote eligible after completing in-person training in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with eight-hour shifts between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• One to two years of healthcare experience, with insurance or prior authorization experience required.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer and phone skills.

Nice To Haves

• Coding experience and certifications.
