Requirements

  • Experience in the Insurance industry or a comparable regulated vertical, with an understanding of its regulatory, commercial, and partner dynamics.

  • Technical proficiency to work with partner APIs.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to optimize funnels and engage users.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with third-party partners.
  • Data-driven, curious, and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and commercial performance for insurance propositions, balancing user needs, partner economics, and business goals.
  • Take a product from concept (0-to-1) or grow and optimize an existing product, managing it end-to-end.
  • Prioritize customer value in all decisions, defining success metrics and measuring proposition value.
  • Manage the entire customer journey, including acquisition, onboarding, in-life engagement, and retention, by identifying and removing friction points.
  • Optimize the sales funnel and develop engagement and retention strategies to increase customer value, utilizing experimentation and discovery with the Optimization team.
  • Translate product strategy, commercial objectives, and partner agreements into clear requirements for the Engineering team, including partner APIs and integrations.
  • Manage a prioritized backlog and collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Commercial teams throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Understand related functions such as tracking, data, CRM, and acquisition marketing to inform product requirements.
  • Ensure appropriate tracking and data collection are implemented, monitor performance, and drive iterative improvements post-launch.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners, serving as the primary product contact and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Act as the central communication point for the product area, ensuring alignment among senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams on shared objectives.
