About The Position

AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the developer experience for the AlphaSense Agent API. This role is crucial for ensuring that developers can easily integrate AlphaSense's AI-driven market intelligence into their own applications. The Product Manager will be responsible for the entire developer journey, from the developer portal and documentation to SDKs, authentication, error handling, and debugging tools. The primary goal is to minimize the time-to-first-call for developers, making the integration process as seamless as possible by aligning with current industry conventions for LLM and agent consumption. This role requires a deep understanding of developer workflows, technical fluency in the AI ecosystem, and the ability to treat documentation and onboarding as a core product feature. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Education to maintain a coherent developer experience as the platform expands. This position offers the opportunity to shape developer standards across AlphaSense's growing product suite.

Requirements

Expertise in developer products, with experience owning public APIs, SDKs, or developer portals.
Understanding of a developer's workflow from the inside, ideally building for developers who integrate products into end-user experiences.
Technically hands-on and fluent in the modern AI developer ecosystem.
Ability to read API documentation, authenticate, and make API calls.
Knowledge of how engineering teams integrate LLMs and expected conventions for SDKs, errors, and tooling.
Strong thought partnership with engineering, capable of driving decisions on complex technical topics.
Experience treating documentation and onboarding as a product.
Experience operating in a fast-scaling enterprise environment.
Ability to create standards for others to rely on.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end developer journey, defining and improving every step from initial visit through authentication, first successful call, integration, and production.
Drive the developer portal, reference documentation, quickstarts, tutorials, code samples, changelogs, and SDKs/client libraries to enable self-service.
Align the API with the standards and conventions teams use to consume LLMs and agents, making AlphaSense integration a near drop-in change.
Provide developers with structured responses, verbose logs, tracing, and clear errors to facilitate debugging of agentic workflows.
Reduce time-to-first-call by identifying and eliminating onboarding friction related to credentials, authentication, and testing.
