About The Position

Tabby is looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the Consumer Experience in its buy now, pay later (BNPL) stream, covering the customer journey from checkout through post-purchase. This is Tabby’s core product, used by customers in every market it serves. The designer will create checkout experiences across online, in-app, and in-store channels, where design changes affect conversion, and post-purchase experiences that help customers repay, manage purchases, and stay in control of their money. The role involves making complex billing logic, market-specific rules, and edge cases feel simple to customers. The designer will have end-to-end ownership of the BNPL Consumer Experience and work with two product managers, a Design Lead in the same domain, dedicated engineers, a UX researcher, a UX writer, and an Arabic copywriter. The squad uses AI tools for prototyping and other design work. The role spans native apps, mobile web, desktop web, and in-store experiences, and includes experimentation, research, delivery, QA, and responsibility for the quality of shipped work. Candidates must be based within four hours of Dubai time; remote work is available in eligible locations. An individual relocation plan to hubs in Armenia, Georgia, Serbia, Poland, and Spain may also be discussed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience shipping B2C products across native mobile and web.
  • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, from problem framing and reasoning to polished, production-ready UI.
  • Strong product and systems thinking, including understanding business goals, conversion, and product logic, and explaining the reasoning behind design decisions.
  • High standards in visual and interaction design, with attention to the quality of work delivered to users.
  • Use of AI in design work, with real projects showing how it accelerated prototyping, exploration, or delivery.
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to simplify complex problems for audiences ranging from designers to C-level executives.
  • Independent and proactive working style, including managing priorities and setting reliable timelines.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or checkout products, including A/B testing in high-traffic funnels.
  • Experience designing for GCC markets or Arabic/RTL interfaces.
  • Comfort working close to code or experience building a design system.
  • Experience in a hyper-growth startup or scale-up.

Responsibilities

  • Own the BNPL Consumer Experience end to end, from checkout to post-purchase, and maintain consistency across both sides of the journey.
  • Understand the product logic behind each flow, including edge cases, before designing it.
  • Work with product managers to reframe problems and create designs that improve business metrics and reduce drop-offs and support tickets.
  • Run experiments on high-traffic checkout flows, interpret results, and iterate to improve conversion.
  • Validate ideas through quick research, independently or with the UX researcher, and use data and customer feedback.
  • Design for native apps, mobile web, desktop web, and in-store, accommodating country-specific rules without fragmenting the experience.
  • Use AI tools for prototyping, ideation, edge-case mapping, and research synthesis.
  • Partner with engineering through delivery, conduct design reviews with QA, and own the quality of shipped work.

Benefits

  • Participation in the employee stock option program.
  • Flexible working hours, coordinated with the team and role needs.
  • Remote work in eligible locations.
  • An individual relocation plan to hubs in Armenia, Georgia, Serbia, Poland, and Spain may be discussed.
