About the position
As a Senior Product Designer at Airbyte, you will be responsible for owning the design process and implementing a design system. Your role will involve building new product features, conducting usability testing, and researching industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with Product and Frontend teams to bring your visions to life and prioritize the product roadmap. With 5+ years of design experience and proficiency in Figma, you will play a crucial role in shaping Airbyte into a delightful user experience. Responsibilities
- Build new product features end-to-end, from wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping
- Conduct ongoing usability testing with internal and external users
- Perform competitive and/or industry research to identify best practices and trends
- Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand user usage and feedback, and prioritize and plan the product roadmap
- Establish and evolve the design system and component library
- Maintain component guidelines and make minor design adjustments through pull requests
- Have 5+ years of design experience, including user research and usability testing
- Use Figma for high-fidelity prototyping
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React)
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
- Experience in tech/startups
