About The Position

CBC News Podcasts is looking for a Senior Producer with experience in news, political coverage, investigative and long-form audio journalism, and podcasting. This role would require working on multiple projects in parallel, with tight deadlines, and covering some of the biggest news stories in CBC’s portfolio. The work is key to the CBC News Podcasting mission – to create and amplify CBC’s journalism in the podcasting space. It is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the workplace at least three days a week at any CBC location in Canada. About CBC News Podcasts: We work with CBC News teams across the country to help support local always-on podcasts, network audio and video teams with a presence in podcasting, and to create and develop original news podcasts for Canadian audiences. We work in deep collaboration with the CBC Podcast Audience Growth Hub, CBC Podcasts and CBC News Studios to create audience-focussed podcast content, and best practices and skills around podcasting among CBC teams.
