About The Position

The Senior Process Improvement Manager identifies, facilitates, and leads enterprise-wide process improvement activities using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to design and improve processes that support business infrastructure and performance. This is a fully remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. The role leads process improvement, future-state design, and operating-model transformation for Duals Care Management and D-SNP priorities across market and enterprise clinical operations. It assesses variation among markets, health plans, products, platforms, and Care Management delivery models, and helps determine which practices should be enterprise-standard, configurable, or market-owned. The manager works hands-on with frontline teams, market leaders, business owners, clinical leaders, and executives, rather than serving primarily in project or program support. The position translates strategic, regulatory, contractual, product, and market requirements into practical Care Management processes and scalable future-state workflows, capabilities, roles, handoffs, decision rights, controls, governance, and performance measures. It partners across clinical operations and numerous enterprise functions to develop business, workflow, data, and platform capability requirements, scale successful practices, and validate sustained improvements. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years of Lean, Six Sigma, or related process improvement experience.
  • Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design, statistical applications, and project management software.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, organization, and executive-ready communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Prior Duals or D-SNP experience; preferred but not required for candidates with strong healthcare process improvement, learning agility, and operating-model design experience.
  • Experience evaluating variation across markets, platforms, products, health plans, or business units; distinguishing required variation from unnecessary inconsistency; and translating findings into scalable operating models.
  • Experience designing future-state capabilities requiring coordination across clinical operations, product, technology, data, quality, and market teams.
  • Capability in current-state assessment, process mapping, root cause analysis, Kaizen and improvement-event design, value stream mapping, future-state design, workflow redesign, stakeholder facilitation, adoption planning, measurable benefit validation, and structured problem solving.
