About The Position

The Senior Platform Engineer will independently design and operate knowledge graph systems that encode industry-specific and domain-specific knowledge for SAP’s Physical AI platform. The role works with Physical AI engineers, product teams, and domain experts to translate industry knowledge requirements into scalable, reliable knowledge infrastructure. The engineer provides technical documentation and best-practice guidance and mentors engineers who use this layer. The position owns the knowledge infrastructure that enables Physical AI to work in specific industry contexts and serves as a technical reference point for data science and engineering colleagues. It involves collaboration across global teams, sharing expertise, contributing to capability improvements, and raising data and engineering standards. Accountability and ownership of the knowledge layer are central to the role.

Requirements

Strong expertise in data science and knowledge engineering.
Hands-on experience building industry-specific and domain-specific knowledge graphs.
Ability to design scalable knowledge infrastructure.
