About The Position

Workist is seeking an SAP SD developer for its Solution Engineering team. The team works directly with customers to connect ERP systems, including SAP, to Workist’s AI platform and bring implementations live. In this role, you will combine product engineering with hands-on customer project work and help scale Workist’s SAP integration. You will own the SAP side of the integration and contribute throughout the customer journey, from initial technical workshops through go-live and ongoing work. You will develop, maintain, and customize integrations for SAP S/4HANA and ECC customers, while working with Product & Engineering to align the integration with the product roadmap. You will also help identify process improvements and new use cases that create measurable customer value.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of hands-on SAP development experience.
  • Proficiency in ABAP and ABAP Objects.
  • Experience building at least one component end-to-end, such as an enhancement, an RFC-enabled function module, or an OData service; experience limited to reports is not sufficient.
  • Experience building or consuming OData services (Gateway or RAP) and REST APIs, including understanding JSON mapping and error handling on both sides.
  • Experience working in ADT/Eclipse and ability to use the classic workbench when a customer system requires it.
  • Interest in reliably getting AI-extracted order data into SAP.
  • Use of AI tooling in their own work.
  • Ability to explain technical decisions to a customer’s SAP team and willingness to run requirements workshops; initial workshops will be conducted together with the team.
  • Fluent German and English, native level or at least C1.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with abapGit, RAP, ABAP Cloud, or BTP.
  • First experience with Python.

  • Run customer implementation projects from requirements workshops to go-live.
  • Act as the technical counterpart for customers before and after signature, ensuring the software is compatible with their existing SAP landscape and meets data protection requirements.
  • Work with the Product & Engineering team to align the SAP integration with the product roadmap.
  • Analyze and identify new use cases that create measurable value for customers.
