About The Position

Implico is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer to join its U.S. consulting and product development team. The developer will build, enhance, and support SAP-based solutions for customer projects and Implico software products, collaborating with consultants, Solution Architects, product teams, and customers. The work involves modern development approaches and SAP S/4HANA technologies, including SAP Clean Core principles and S/4HANA modernization.

Requirements

• Experience with SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and ABAP Cloud.
• Experience developing solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite and SAP Cloud Integration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Clean Core principles and S/4HANA extensibility concepts.

Nice To Haves

• Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Logistics, Fuel Distribution, or related sectors.
• Experience with SAP IS-Oil and SAP Secondary Distribution Management (SDM) and/or Retail Fuel Network Operations (RFNO).
• Experience developing SAP software products, accelerators, or reusable solution extensions.
• SAP development certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects.
• Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, APIs, and custom SAP solutions.
• Build and enhance solutions using CDS Views, BADIs, BAPIs, IDocs, OData services, and SAP APIs.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Contribute to the development and support of Implico software products.
• Collaborate with consultants and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support SAP S/4HANA modernization projects and apply SAP Clean Core principles.
