About The Position

The Senior Outreach Coordinator supports the Center for EMS in supporting the medical center’s mission in being the preferred partner of EMS providers throughout Ohio for quality care, education and research by creating long-term collaborative relationships and bidirectional communication that improves services rendered and community health and are mutually beneficial to OSUMC and our EMS partners. This position will report to the manager for Center for EMS, with a focus on building relationships with EMS through development of educational opportunities, implementing outreach solutions, and evaluating quality outcomes that support access to expert clinical care, research studies, and clinical delivery within EMS systems as outlined in the Center for EMS Strategic Plan and meet community needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, nursing, or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects.
  • Ability to learn new systems software.
  • Independent and self-motivated.
  • Attends professional continuing education to remain up to date on best practices and technological innovation’s in the clinical disciplines.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
