About The Position

The Senior Order Management Specialist focuses on the order lifecycle, from entry and processing through fulfillment and shipment confirmation. This hands-on, detail-intensive role supports complex, high-value contracts across software subscriptions, appliances, and cloud consumption. Accurate order management helps protect revenue recognition, shorten days sales outstanding, and let sales teams focus on selling. The role partners with Sales, Legal, Accounting, Customer Success, and other internal teams, and supports governance that keeps the order-to-cash process audit-ready.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in order management, supply chain, logistics, or a related operations role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in data management.
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with CRM software such as SFDC, ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Oversee the order lifecycle, including order entry, processing, fulfillment, and shipment confirmation.
Monitor order status and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and fulfillment issues.
Communicate with internal customers about order status, changes, and issues.
Handle escalated order issues, entitlements, and exceptions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and service-level agreements.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate and on-time shipments.
Develop and implement processes to improve order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and operational efficiency.
Monitor KPIs such as order cycle time, shipment lead time, shipping accuracy, and on-time delivery rate.
Collaborate with Finance, Product Management, Professional Services, Deals Desk, and Sales teams.
