About The Position

Codeword is a communication agency that helps brands create breakthrough comms, content, and community experiences. The Senior Operations Project Manager will be working directly with our client to support and optimize global cross-team workflows for the Energy and Power team. You’ll be responsible for preparing meeting materials and agendas, as well as providing meeting recaps and information appropriate for relevant stakeholders. The role demands an excellent communicator who is just as comfortable leading a meeting as they are taking notes. You should always be thinking a step (or two) ahead in every project. You should know how to bring people of all levels together to get deliverables finished on time, on budget, and properly documented so all stakeholders can access. An interest in the energy sector is a must for this role -but prior experience is not required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • Detail-oriented (you LOVE a list)
  • Comfortable establishing and maintaining complex project timelines across a variety of stakeholders
  • Excels at managing expectations through change and ensuring that your team delivers exceptional work
  • Demonstrable knowledge of team and agency operations
  • Successful track record managing multiple work streams and varied projects
  • Very strong communicator and excel in fostering clear communication channels
  • Proficient in gathering and organizing unstructured data
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and software like Quickbase and Salesforce
  • An interest in the energy sector is a must

Responsibilities

  • Supporting execution and management of various projects (e.g., OKR updates, process improvements)
  • Independent management of projects, timelines, deliverables and budgets
  • Day-to-day communication with internal and external stakeholders, understanding their needs and overall goals. Including facilitating internal team meetings and workshops
  • Develop timelines and project plans and tracking progress against key milestones to align with the larger organization’s due dates
  • Preparing internal project reports and presentations
  • Managing project documentation and ensuring information flow across teams
  • Miscellaneous administrative tasks (team event planning and expenses)
