About The Position

Wieser Concrete is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Operations Manager to coordinate projects from point of sale through production and final delivery. This position works closely with sales, drafting, production, shipping, and customers to ensure projects move efficiently through the organization while maintaining schedules, communication, and customer satisfaction. This role will also assist with project takeoffs, estimating, and quotations as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience.
  • Understanding of CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, Claude and/or related business software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects from awarded sale through production and final delivery.
  • Maintain communication between sales, drafting, production, shipping, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project schedules, approvals, production status, and delivery timelines.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure timely approvals and responses.
  • Help identify and resolve scheduling or workflow conflicts to keep projects on track.
  • Produce and manage submittal documents after receipt of an order.
  • Obtain submittal documents from suppliers.
  • Work with outside engineering firms when required to provide project engineering.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and revisions.
  • Assist with project takeoffs, estimating, and quotations as needed.
  • Download and review project plans and specifications.
  • Complete quantity takeoffs and assist with quote preparation.
  • Follow up with customers regarding bids, schedules, and order status.
  • Produce supplementary drawings to aid production of standard and non-standard products.
  • Assist production manager with scheduling coordination and inventory planning to help ensure efficient workflow and on-time production.
  • Assist dispatcher with coordinating deliveries and shipment schedules to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.
  • Customer and jobsite visits as needed to support project coordination, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Work closely with company sales and marketing team to promote the company and its product line, including occasional tradeshow representation and attendance.
  • Follow all company safety rules and policies while maintaining an organized and professional work environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional image with employees, management, customers, and the community.
