Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business)
  • 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist II OR 3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business Office Communications) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Office Support Specialist II
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for senior administrative management of day-to-day operations for the medical staff and psychology department, assigned programs or projects; may provide leadership and guidance to administrative staff.
  • Acts as liaison between medical director, division administrators, and program managers to coordinate calendars for meetings and conference calls.
  • Provide instruction on office policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Attends, takes minutes and prepares necessary records for meetings.
  • Receives, analyzes and responds to requests for information.
  • Compiles and analyzes a variety of data and information and prepares related reports.
  • Investigates customer complaints and takes steps necessary to resolve them.
  • Explains program requirements and interprets policies.
  • Tracks information.
  • Administers the database for information.
  • Prepares routine response/notification letters.
  • Prepares routine on-call schedule for medical staff.
  • Updates and keeps track of necessary medical licenses.
  • Input of PAI for psychology into the database.
  • Creates and manages requests for medical interns.
  • Direct workflow of the office
  • Coordinates a variety of advanced, diversified and/or confidential administrative support functions.
  • Conducts research related to the specific project or program.
