About The Position

We’re looking for someone with deep expertise on administering, configuring, and supporting NetSuite financial modules. The Senior NetSuite Finance Systems Analyst plays a vital role in maintaining, enhancing, and implementing core finance systems, with a primary focus on NetSuite. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, this hands-on role works closely with Finance, Accounting, and Data & Analytics teams to optimize processes, ensure data accuracy, and deliver scalable automation solutions. You thrive at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, comfortable querying data, troubleshooting issues, and managing complex automation projects. With a deep expertise supporting and enhancing NetSuite, you have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. Experience with systems and tools such as NetSuite, Ramp, Cube, Avalara, and Snowflake is highly desirable. Exposure to AI or workflow automation tools to transform financial processes and reporting is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Advanced NetSuite experience is required, including administration, configuration and support of core financial modules
  • 3-5 years of financial systems management, including implementation or upgrade of existing ERP with a strong focus on NetSuite
  • Experience improving, automating, and scaling finance processes through NetSuite enhancements, workflows, integrations, and reporting
  • Proficient in data analysis with large datasets; skilled in Excel, SQL, and data warehouses such as Snowflake, as well as BI tools like Redash and Looker
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to assess reporting implications of process changes, supported by strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Hands-on experience partnering with engineering to build system data integrations and automate finance workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical teams effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or working towards CPA designation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of implementing other finance systems is a bonus (SAP, Ramp, Workiva, Cube and Avalara).
  • Exposure to AI or workflow automation tools to transform financial processes and reporting is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance and expand ERP capabilities (NetSuite), leveraging new modules and features to streamline reporting and shorten the financial close cycle.
  • Translate accounting and business needs into system automation workflows, collaborate with engineering partners, develop test cases, perform QA, and lead implementation, along with post-implementation support.
  • Drive process and reporting improvements, including automated journal entries and optimized data workflows for timely reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Support the finance team by serving as a key resource on finance systems, assisting with changes, upgrades, migrations, releases, and troubleshooting day-to-day data reconciliation or reporting issues.
  • Assess existing finance processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for optimization; track risks, issues, and system dependencies.
  • Maintain the automation roadmap and work with external partners on system updates and future system implementations.
  • Provide ongoing support to users, including training, access management, and resolving day-to-day system questions.
  • Maintain clear, robust system documentation to support financial controls and audits.
