About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance team in Plymouth, MN on a hybrid schedule. The Financial Systems Senior Analyst administers and improves multiple financial systems to ensure accurate data, compliant processes, and efficient operations. The role leads complex system activities during financial close, resolves integration issues, and partners with Finance and IT to deliver timely results. The role drives process improvements, strengthens controls, and manages escalated production support. This position also leads requirements gathering, solution design, and testing for transformational projects and system upgrades to support business needs and successful adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with ERPs and reporting tools
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical, decision making, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively using oral and written communication in various forms including video.
  • Must be able to work both independently, as a member of a team, and have the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office suite and other systems utilized by the department.
  • Must maintain a high level of accuracy and follow-through on commitments.
  • Requires the ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Capable and willing to adapt to changes as needed.
  • Ability to follow work instructions as directed.
  • Ability to stay focused and productive during required working hours.
  • Respond to internal and external clients as established

Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance finance systems and processes to ensure accurate data, compliant reporting, and efficient operations.
  • Maintain finance structures, codes, workflows, and integrations, and support finance system activities during the financial close cycle.
  • Provide senior‑level functional support and serve as subject matter expert for finance systems by resolving complex issues, managing escalations, and establishing effective support practices.
  • Manage financial system access and internal control requirements and provide backup functional support for complex finance systems as needed.
  • Support accounting and regulatory compliance by strengthening internal controls, performing risk assessments, and identifying potential data and reporting issues.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of finance operations.
  • Oversee finance reporting structures, reconciliations between reporting tools and source systems, and controls to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.
  • Partners with Finance leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to align priorities, deliver system enhancements, and advise on opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead finance-related system initiatives and enhancements, including planning, requirements definition, solution design, testing oversight, and cross-functional coordination.
