About The Position

ASML is seeking an experienced media relations professional to lead its Washington, D.C. media engagement on semiconductors, technology, public policy, trade, national security, industrial policy and geopolitics. The role builds trusted relationships with U.S. and international journalists, develops proactive media strategies, advises senior leaders, and works closely with U.S. Government Affairs and global Communications teams. It focuses on communicating complex technical, business and policy topics clearly and credibly to external audiences; it is not a lobbying or government relations position. The position is part of ASML’s U.S. Communications team, with a strong dotted-line connection to the global media relations team in the Netherlands. It reports to the Head of U.S. Media Relations and may serve as the senior U.S. media relations point of contact when that leader is unavailable. The role works with international media spokespersons and internal stakeholders, including senior executives, to support strategic decisions where technology, policy and geopolitics intersect. It is based in Washington, D.C., and is hybrid, with work from the ASML D.C. office expected at least three days per week. The role requires access to controlled technology under U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access it before beginning work. The current annual base salary range is $110,250–$161,700. ASML provides employees and their families medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance; employees may participate in the 401(k) plan and receive eight hours of vacation leave per month and 13 paid holidays annually.
