Requirements

  • 4-7 years in a B2B marketing role, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or tech startup environment.
  • Proven event production experience, including managing trade shows, webinars, and VIP experiences with strong logistics skills.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar, and comfort tracking campaign performance.
  • Experience with event platforms and project management tools (e.g., CVENT, Asana).
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of writing concise briefs, follow-up emails, and post-event recaps.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple complex projects independently while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong, proactive communication skills for effective collaboration with VPs, creative teams, and external vendors.
  • Solutions-first approach, bringing options rather than just questions.
  • Adaptable and able to recalibrate without losing momentum when priorities change.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to make reasonable calls and course-correct as needed.
  • Natural collaborator who earns trust with both creative and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, and execute mid-to-large scale trade shows, webinars, customer offsites, and internal large-scale team events, managing all aspects from venue sourcing and vendor negotiation to on-site operations and post-event wrap-up.
  • Develop and maintain a scalable Event Playbook (checklists, run-of-show templates, pre/post event marketing and activations) to ensure consistent execution aligned with event scale, format, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to support localized, high-impact micro-events.
  • Own individual event budgets, drive vendor negotiations, and manage brand platform tools (e.g., Brilliant) for efficiency and brand consistency.
  • Source internal/external event speakers, develop presentations, and coordinate presenter logistics and operations with onsite teams.
  • Capture post-event data, assess performance against KPIs, and provide clear recommendations for improvement.
  • Support marketing campaigns, content development, competitive research, and sales enablement as needed.
  • Collaborate with Content and Design to ensure event themes align with quarterly marketing pillars and contribute to the content pipeline.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to manage pre and post-event workflows, ensuring clean lead attribution and CRM hygiene in Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Support the team in building and maintaining the HealthJoy Champions database (brokers, employers, external speakers).
  • Draft the Event Roadmap with data-backed recommendations and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Join commercial meetings (sales calls, CS sessions, broker events) to stay informed about the audience and bring market perspectives back to the marketing team.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and ensure a high-touch experience for top clients.
  • Develop insights on the competitive and benefits landscape to help sharpen positioning and messaging.
