About The Position

As we continue to scale one of the fastest growing apparel brands, Cabot Hosiery Mills is seeking a Marketing Events Specialist to lead the execution of high-impact consumer and trade events that build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue growth for Darn Tough. This role is responsible for bringing each brand to life in the field—owning the planning, logistics, and on-site activation of events while delivering a best-in-class brand experience. Reporting to the Sr. Growth Marketing Manager, this role partners closely with Creative, Brand, Sales, and Logistics to ensure events are strategically aligned, operationally sound, and effectively measured. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and energized by fast-paced environments, with a strong ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or brand activations.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events from concept through completion.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident representing the brand in public-facing environments.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of consumer events, including planning, logistics, activation, content capture, and reporting.
  • Serve as the on-site brand lead as the face and voice of the brand.
  • Manage the consumer event calendar and budget, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, key campaigns, and commercial objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of experiential marketing strategy to strengthen storytelling and consumer connection.
  • Partner with Brand, Creative, and Growth Marketing teams to deliver cohesive, integrated event experiences, including pre- and post-event marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Finance, HR) and external partners (retail reps, ambassadors, influencers, athletes) to maximize event impact.
  • Oversee event logistics, including booth design, shipping, inventory, signage, fixtures, and materials.
  • Manage event inventory and merchandise, including giveaways; partner with procurement/logistics to source and track materials.
  • Facilitate seed sock procurement for PR, photoshoots, and internal needs.
  • Lead consumer activations to support donations and philanthropy initiatives, including product contributions, nonprofit partnerships, and community engagement efforts.
  • Track and analyze event performance metrics and identify opportunities to optimize investments and execution and elevate brand presence.
