About The Position

Apple Retail brings together Apple’s expertise to help people do what they love and deliver an only-at-Apple experience. The Senior Manager creates a positive environment for customer interactions that supports performance goals and business priorities. The role helps drive the store’s vision and purpose, develops other managers, and supports the Store Leader with business strategies and critical decisions. Senior Managers lead specific parts of the store experience and partner with the Store Leader to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems. The Senior Manager leads and develops a team, including Managers, and helps recruit, train, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing team. The role provides active floor leadership, models excellent customer service, resolves customer and team member concerns, and executes operational strategies for assigned functional areas and the store. It also protects company assets and confidential information and fosters a safe, respectful, inclusive environment aligned with Apple’s values.

Requirements

Three years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; sign language is supported.
Availability to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays, and reliably attend work as scheduled, consistent with local laws and approved accommodations.

Responsibilities

Lead and empower a team, including Managers, to achieve performance and development goals.
Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
Participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers, modeling expected behaviors, meeting business priorities, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, partnering with leadership and relevant business or People partners when appropriate.
Establish, plan, and execute operational strategies for assigned functional areas and the entire store to drive business priorities and achieve performance goals.
Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures and protect company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
Perform other tasks as needed.

Model inclusive leadership and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.
