The position is based at the NYC headquarters on a hybrid schedule of four office days and one remote day during non-travel weeks. Travel to company stores and off-site events is approximately 50% of the time. Evenings, overnights and weekends may be needed for floor sets, window installations, launches, openings and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Portfolio showing visual merchandising work personally conceived and executed, such as store displays, windows or retail activations.
  • Demonstrated ability to take creative concepts from idea to completed installation on time and on budget.
  • Hands-on installation skills, including setting floors, building windows, styling fixtures and working with props, tools and ladders.
  • Experience shaping customer-facing retail experiences beyond visual displays, such as store environments, customization or service moments.
  • Strong creative eye and understanding of color, composition, product presentation and visual storytelling.
  • Commercial understanding of how visual merchandising influences customer behavior and sales.
  • Ability to turn creative concepts into clear, actionable plans for others to execute.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with Store Managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including vendor, budget and production timeline management.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, hands-on approach.
  • Passion for fashion, accessories, design and memorable retail experiences.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift and carry fixtures, props and product.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct store visits and virtual reviews, maintain visual standards, resolve issues and ensure timely execution.
  • Adapt concepts to store layouts, inventory and customer needs while preserving brand consistency.
  • Balance visual storytelling with commercial goals, using product placement and displays to support engagement, discovery and sales.
  • Coordinate visual priorities with Retail and Merchandising teams based on product performance, inventory and selling opportunities.
  • Shape and implement the end-to-end in-store customer journey, including storefronts, entry areas, fitting rooms, customization stations, checkout and packaging.
  • Design, build and refine customization experiences, including patch bars, embroidery and personalization.
  • Partner with Retail Leadership to establish and roll out standards for atmosphere, music, lighting, signage and wayfinding.
  • Use customer feedback, store observations and sales data to identify and implement improvements to the in-store experience.
  • Collaborate with Events, Marketing, Creative and Retail teams on visual concepts for in-store and corporate events, pop-ups, activations and special experiences.
  • Own merchandising and styling for events and activations, including product presentation, layouts, signage, fixtures, props and setup.
  • Attend key events and activations to style, build and set up; manage load-in, installation and breakdown with on-site teams and vendors.
  • Create execution plans, mockups and setup guidelines for events that cannot be attended in person; review setup photos and direct corrections remotely.
  • Develop visual moments that enhance guest experience, showcase products and encourage engagement.
  • Translate campaigns, seasonal themes and brand storytelling into physical retail experiences with Creative and Marketing teams.
  • Develop creative ways to showcase products and customization offerings, including patches, embroidery and personalization.
  • Propose displays, windows, fixtures and visual moments with practical production and installation plans.
  • Ensure visual concepts reflect the brand aesthetic while remaining practical, scalable and executable across different spaces.
  • Manage planning, sourcing, production, shipping and installation of visual materials, signage, props and fixtures for stores and events.
