About The Position

This individual-contributor position is accountable for optimizing workflows across Aetna Service Operations. The role documents end-to-end workflows, clarifies process ownership, identifies breakdowns, and prioritizes high-impact improvement opportunities. In collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, the incumbent drives remediation, improves operational effectiveness, and delivers sustainable process improvements. The role also develops an enterprise-level narrative connecting findings to executive decisions and tracks remediation through closure.

Requirements

Eight or more years of experience in operations, process excellence, or transformation.
Experience mapping processes across organizational boundaries.
Proven ability to identify root causes and establish durable process ownership.
Proven ability to drive results across the organization through influence.
Comfort working with limited precedent and building structure where none exists.
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Transformation office or process excellence experience.
Three to five years of consulting experience.
Master's degree.

Responsibilities

Document end-to-end workflows within and across the organization.
