About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Management Consulting Senior Manager within Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL), part of Enterprise Functions, to lead the Treasury Management Consulting team supporting Government Banking. The role focuses on driving growth, deepening client relationships, supporting client retention, and developing a high-performing team.

The Senior Manager leads approximately seven Treasury Management Consultants across multiple Government Banking markets. This hands-on leader provides coaching and development and partners closely with market, relationship, sales, and product leaders. The position calls for strong Treasury Management expertise and people leadership, with responsibility for balancing sales growth, client needs, risk management, and team performance. The role requires up to 60–70% travel and offers a hybrid work schedule. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Specific compliance policies may apply to outside activities and personal investing.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination.
• At least 3 years of management or leadership experience.
• Position requires up to 60–70% travel.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Employees affected by applicable policies regarding outside activities or personal investing must provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by policy requirements if hired.

Nice To Haves

• Significant Treasury Management sales and/or consulting experience with demonstrated success driving growth and client retention.
• People-management experience leading, coaching, and developing Treasury Management, payments, or banking professionals.
• Strong knowledge of Treasury Management solutions, including payments, liquidity, receivables, payables, and cash management.
• Experience partnering with Relationship Managers, market leaders, and product partners to identify and execute new business opportunities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, including experience managing priorities across multiple markets and stakeholders.
• Government Banking, Public Sector, or Municipal Banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately seven Treasury Management Consultants across multiple Government Banking markets.
• Drive Treasury Management growth and client retention by leading strategies to deepen existing relationships and capture new business opportunities.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, market leaders, sales leaders, and product partners to develop and execute client and market strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance on complex Treasury Management opportunities, engaging directly with clients and influencing key stakeholders.
• Establish team priorities, manage resources, and drive accountability for business objectives, performance, and strategic initiatives.
• Promote a strong risk and control environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes, operating effectiveness, and team execution.
• Follow applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures and fulfill risk and compliance obligations, including timely escalation and remediation of issues.
