About The Position

Accenture is seeking a State Government Consulting Senior Manager – Transformation Lead to lead technology-enabled transformation engagements for state and county government clients. The role combines state and local government functional expertise with leadership across the transformation lifecycle, from strategy and readiness through design, implementation, stabilization, and value realization. Candidates should bring deep functional experience in at least one area: finance and budget operations, HR and workforce transformation, payroll administration, or procurement and contract management. The position may lead an overall program or serve as the senior functional tower owner on Cloud ERP engagements. The role also leads domain change management, integration and data migration strategy, and incorporates AI-assisted delivery, platform-native AI, and responsible workflow automation. The Senior Manager contributes to competitive pursuits and pre-RFP market development, builds relationships with state functional leaders and platform account teams, represents the practice at relevant public-sector forums, develops reusable practice capabilities, and mentors junior and mid-level practitioners. Travel of 50% or more is expected.
