About The Position

Sitting within a highly cross functional team partnering closely with Walmart+, this role leads the planning and execution of complex strategic objectives focused on preventing fraud and abuse targeting Memberships. Managing multiple risk vectors throughout our customer journeys requires expertise in program and financial management, stakeholder engagement and technology strategy to drive operational excellence. The position involves overseeing project delivery, managing risks and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure successful outcomes. The incumbent will translate business needs into actionable plans, influence stakeholders, and promote continuous improvement while maintaining accountability for performance metrics and resource optimization within a dynamic technology environment. The Fraud Strategy Solutions Team within Enterprise Consumer Fraud Risk at Walmart leads efforts to protect customers and the business by addressing fraud across the customer lifecycle. The team collaborates with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Compliance partners to develop AI-driven solutions that balance trust, growth, and efficiency. Emphasizing strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology strategy, the team delivers innovative solutions aligned with global fraud prevention objectives. This role supports Walmart’s commitment to secure and efficient operations through effective collaboration, decision-making, and accountability in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in program and financial management, including budgeting and cost monitoring across multiple projects.
  • Strong knowledge of technology strategies and ability to align projects with overall business objectives.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with excellent communication and influencing skills to build consensus.
  • Ability to define program goals, deliverables, and schedules using program planning tools and techniques.
  • Skilled in risk assessment, mitigation, and scenario planning to ensure successful program completion.
  • Proficient in monitoring program performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead teams, mentor associates, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
