About The Position

The Senior Manager, Technology Operations, will ensure the consistency and efficacy of fraud controls as capabilities expand internationally. This role leads the execution of complex technology programs by aligning strategic objectives with operational and financial plans. This role oversees multiple projects, ensuring effective resource allocation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring. The position requires strong stakeholder engagement to translate business needs into actionable technology solutions while fostering collaboration across teams. The incumbent drives continuous improvement, supports talent development, and upholds high standards of integrity and operational excellence to deliver impactful results that advance organizational goals. The Fraud Strategy Solutions Team within Enterprise Consumer Fraud Risk at Walmart leads initiatives to safeguard customers and the business by addressing fraud throughout the customer lifecycle. Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Compliance partners, the team develops AI-driven solutions that balance trust, growth, and efficiency. With a focus on strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology strategy, the team delivers innovative solutions aligned with global fraud prevention goals. This role supports Walmart’s commitment to secure and efficient operations through effective collaboration, decision-making, and accountability in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in program and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across multiple projects.
  • Strong knowledge of technology strategies and ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs using established program management frameworks and tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills to influence and drive consensus.
  • Experience in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and performance monitoring to ensure program success.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technology solutions and operational improvements.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
