About The Position

Sitting within a highly cross-functional team and partnering closely with Walmart Marketplace, this role leads the planning and execution of multiple complex technology programs to prevent fraud and abuse targeting Marketplace Sellers. Managing risk vectors unique to Marketplace, requiring expertise in program and financial management, stakeholder engagement, and technology strategy to drive operational excellence, the position involves overseeing project delivery, managing risks, and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure successful outcomes. The incumbent will translate business needs into actionable plans, influence stakeholders, and promote continuous improvement while maintaining accountability for performance metrics and resource optimization within a dynamic technology environment. The Enterprise Fraud Strategy & Operations team at Walmart leads efforts to protect customers and the business by proactively addressing fraud across the customer lifecycle. Collaborating with cross-functional partners including Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Compliance, the team develops advanced AI-driven solutions that balance trust, growth, and efficiency. Emphasizing strong program management, stakeholder engagement, and technology strategy, the team delivers innovative, impactful solutions aligned with global fraud prevention goals. This role supports Walmart’s commitment to secure, efficient operations through effective collaboration, decision making, and accountability in a dynamic business environment.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in program and financial management, including budgeting and cost control for multiple complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of technology strategies and ability to align business unit requirements with technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in defining program goals, deliverables, and accountability matrices to ensure successful execution.
  • Proficiency in monitoring program performance metrics, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
  • Excellent business communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence through collaboration, decision making, and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • OR 7 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 4 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Responsibilities
