About The Position

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management – Inventory Flow Optimization – Fresh owns the inventory flow strategy for Sam’s Club’s Fresh business and serves as the primary flow strategy partner to Fresh Merchandising leaders. The role identifies cost, speed, and availability opportunities, develops analytics and business cases, and drives execution across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Transportation, Replenishment, and Sourcing partners at Sam’s Club and Walmart. The Inventory Flow Optimization team connects Merchandising strategy with Supply Chain execution and works to optimize inventory flow from supplier to member. The Fresh pillar manages end-to-end inventory flow for a large and complex business. Fresh products move quickly, have limited shelf life, and can require temperature-controlled transportation, making flow decisions important to cost, freshness, and member in-stock availability. The role sets a Fresh inventory flow strategy and roadmap, builds strong working relationships with Fresh Merchandising leaders, optimizes end-to-end flow and network decisions, owns freight factor and supply chain cost analytics, and defines and reports business KPIs. The position is based at the listed Walmart/Sam’s Club location in Bentonville, Arkansas.
