Ecolab Inc.•Saint Paul, MN
•$166,300 - $249,600

About The Position

Ecolab is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Technical Product Managers responsible for products and business capabilities across its enterprise ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow supports critical workflows across Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations, Customer Service, HR, Associate Experience, IT, Legal, and other areas. The role brings these product areas together under a clear functional direction while each Technical Product Manager retains ownership of their product’s roadmap, backlog, stakeholders, adoption, and health. The Senior Manager leads the Technical Product Management team and serves as the functional authority for ServiceNow. The role sets team direction, connects product roadmaps, resolves cross-product priorities and functional decisions, and ensures the platform develops as a coherent enterprise platform. This is both a leadership and hands-on product role, partnering with business product leaders, process owners, Architecture, Engineering, UX, Enterprise AI, Data, Security, QA, Delivery, and Operations. The role owns functional direction and product-decision quality; Platform Architecture owns technical architecture and guardrails, while Engineering and Delivery own technical execution, quality, capacity, and delivery performance. The position reports to the ServiceNow Platform Owner. The role leads and develops Technical Product Managers; establishes product-management standards, governance, and decision rights; sets functional principles and guides cross-product design; maintains an integrated, multiyear product strategy and roadmap; evaluates and prioritizes demand; and resolves dependencies and competing priorities. It partners across business and technology organizations to turn roadmap priorities into executable plans, deliver consistent experiences, and advance workflow automation, enterprise search, knowledge, data, integrations, AI, and other platform capabilities. The Senior Manager is accountable for product health, adoption, and value realization across the platform. This includes establishing outcome measures, reviewing product maturity and risks, using analytics and feedback to guide improvements, and ensuring product lifecycle plans address launch, adoption, enhancement, support, modernization, consolidation, and retirement.

  • Work with business leaders, TPMs, Architecture, Engineering, UX, Finance, and Delivery on investment and sequencing decisions, escalating unresolved alignment issues with clear options and recommendations.
  • Define Technical Product Management practices, decision rights, ownership, and governance forums across the ServiceNow platform; maintain records of major decisions, exceptions, risks, commitments, and owners.
  • Review major functional designs and product proposals that affect shared capabilities or multiple business areas, and guide teams toward solutions that address business outcomes and use reusable patterns where appropriate.
  • Ensure functional designs consider processes, personas, regional requirements, accessibility, language, data, integrations, security, and operational support; involve Architecture and Engineering early.
  • Stay engaged in major initiatives through design, delivery, testing, deployment, and stabilization to protect approved product intent.
  • Partner with Architecture, Engineering, UX, QA, Delivery, and Operations to turn the integrated roadmap into executable plans with clear outcomes, ownership, scope, experience direction, success measures, and decision rights.
  • Hold TPMs accountable for actionable roadmaps and prioritized backlogs, and for engagement from discovery and design through testing, deployment, adoption, operation, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and help resolve recurring delivery issues, cross-product dependencies, and scope or priority changes that threaten timelines, outcomes, quality, or platform health.
  • Establish consistent experience principles across ServiceNow portals, workspaces, mobile experiences, and workflow interactions, partnering with UX leadership on reusable patterns, accessibility, and design governance.
  • Align teams on navigation, taxonomy, search, knowledge, content, requests, cases, approvals, tasks, notifications, and personalization; use research, analytics, feedback, adoption data, and support trends to identify improvements.
  • Set functional product direction for ServiceNow AI, Now Assist, AI agents, enterprise search, conversational experiences, workflow automation, and decision support.
