About The Position

Fieldguide is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Strategy & Operations to serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams. This role will focus on turning strategy into execution across the product lifecycle and building the operating systems that enable product teams to make better decisions, ship with confidence, and demonstrate measurable impact. This is the first dedicated hire in this function, requiring the ability to build from scratch in an ambiguous environment.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years in Product Operations, Product Management, product or corporate strategy, consulting, or a closely related operational role at a high-growth tech or SaaS company.
  • Experience building processes and programs from scratch and scaling them thoughtfully.
  • Strong ability to translate complex qualitative and quantitative data (usage metrics, feedback themes, retention signals) into clear recommendations and roadmap inputs.
  • Ability to pull data independently.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across Product, GTM, and Engineering without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Voice of Customer systems that synthesize signal from engagement partners, managers, and staff auditors, along with Solutions, Implementation, and Sales, into product signals teams can act on.
  • Establish rigorous mechanisms for measuring product success and user impact (e.g., dashboards, KPIs).
  • Own the analysis behind major product bets, including competitive positioning, expansion of agent capabilities, and the unit economics of running agents at scale (e.g., inference cost per engagement, cost-to-serve by segment, and their implications for roadmap sequencing).
  • Own and improve core product development processes, tooling, and team rituals, such as planning cycles, roadmap reviews, and monthly business reviews.
  • Build run-of-business systems that scale as the company grows, including launch calendars, intake frameworks, and RACI structures.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
