Senior Manager, Product Marketing- 2K/Firaxis

The job overview for the Senior Product Marketing Manager position at Firaxis Games is to work closely with the Firaxis Development and 2K Global Marketing teams to plan for the future of the Civilization franchise. • Represent the voice of the consumer and work collaboratively with marketing and development teams
• Build detailed profiles of customers and their gaming needs
• Identify global audience needs and opportunities for product development and strategic marketing planning
• Synthesize game telemetry data, competitive research, consumer insights, and community input to create detailed audience profiles
• Define and prioritize specific product feature needs
• Work with the game team to implement desired features
• Ensure correct feature sets and product vision for future products
• Develop expertise in the Strategy gaming genre, particularly Civilization and top competitors
• Provide product and competitive expertise for development, marketing, and publishing teams
• Act as the embedded representative of the 2K Global Marketing team within the studio
• Work closely with the Global Marketing Strategy team to develop marketing plans and execute ideas
• Present marketing plans and represent marketing in meetings
• Assist with strategic planning and campaign rollouts
• Liaise with Global Marketing Strategy and Development teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials
• Provide leadership, collaboration, and communication within the team and across functions
• Partner, present, and report to stakeholders on marketing campaign progress
• Oversee and direct the tasks and progress of direct reports

• Previous experience in consumer insights and data analytics, game development, or product management
• Knowledge and familiarity with the Firaxis portfolio of titles, especially Civilization
• Ability to represent the voice of the consumer and work collaboratively with marketing and development teams
• Passion for improving game quality and driving player engagement
• Strong diplomatic, strategic, and data analysis skills
• Ability to build detailed profiles of the audience, including their needs, motivations, and desired features
• Experience in defining and prioritizing specific product features based on data analytics and consumer insights
• Familiarity with the strategy gaming genre, particularly Civilization and its competitors
• Expertise in marketing strategy and project management
• Ability to champion the marketing plan and strategic vision within the studio
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
• Experience in presenting marketing plans and reporting progress to stakeholders
• Ability to oversee and direct the tasks and progress of direct reports
