About The Position

The Senior Manager, Operations directs projects, work streams, and programs by managing project plans and timelines, maintaining project data, facilitating communication for roll-outs and implementations, setting and evaluating performance standards, resolving escalated issues, and managing budgets and expenditures where required. The role drives business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, communicating priorities, removing obstacles, providing resources, measuring performance, and developing contingency plans.

The position provides decision support by sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data; evaluating business trends and initiatives; turning analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectives; and working with cross-functional teams to develop processes and strategies. It also manages implementation of business solutions through stakeholder partnerships, improved site-selection methods and processes, business-efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives, data-accuracy oversight, scorecards and tracking mechanisms, store-activation innovations, and collaboration with operations and internal partners to meet metrics through customer service and platform development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field plus at least 1 year of experience in operations, project management, or related experience; OR bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of those fields plus at least 3 years of such experience.
• Experience with leveraging dashboards and analytical resources, including Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Suites.
• Experience partnering with business and analytics teams to define, develop, and deploy key metrics, using Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and PMP planning and productivity tools.
• Experience with KPI analysis, operational reviews, and performance reporting using Excel and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience developing Last Mile Delivery business operations mechanisms and governance using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
• Experience developing performance-reporting graphs, charts, and tables for executive business reviews using Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
• Experience tracking app feature and launch readiness and producing executive-level reporting using Atlassian JIRA, Airtable, and Excel.
• Experience planning and coordinating standups and forums for weekly updates on centralized initiatives; listed credentials/tools include Scrum/Agile Master, PSM I, and PMP.
• Project management experience reporting and coordinating key initiatives using PMP.
• Experience with program and project management using PMP-aligned methodologies to centralize initiatives and program-level planning.
• Experience prototyping Artificial Intelligence/GenAI for process improvement and optimization using AI agents such as Co-pilot and ChatGPT.
• Experience developing Artificial Intelligence/GenAI prototypes for operational analytics and insight generation using AI agents such as Co-pilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage projects, work streams, and programs, including plans, timelines, project data, communications, roll-outs, and implementations.
• Set performance standards, measure progress, adjust performance and direction, and develop solutions and contingency plans for escalated issues.
• Manage budgets and approve expenditures for assignments where required.
• Drive business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, communicating priorities, removing barriers, providing resources, and supporting continuous learning.
• Source, organize, analyze, and interpret data and information to inform decisions and communicate business trends.
• Translate data analysis into recommendations aligned with business objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams on processes and strategies.
• Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and implement business solutions.
• Develop innovations and tools for site selection and continuously improve selection methodology.
• Leverage cross-functional best practices to streamline processes and improve business efficiency.
• Develop creative solutions to reduce costs and meet business goals, and ensure data accuracy.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in determining necessary business activities.
• Develop and implement scorecards and other tracking mechanisms, and create innovations for store activation.
• Collaborate with and influence operations and internal partners, driving execution to meet metrics through customer service and platform development.
