About The Position

The Senior Manager, Operations directs projects, work streams, and programs by managing project plans and timelines, maintaining project data, coordinating communications for roll-outs and implementations, setting and measuring performance standards, addressing escalated issues, adjusting direction based on evaluations, and managing budgets and expenditures when required. The role also drives multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, communicating priorities, removing obstacles, providing resources, measuring progress, developing contingency plans, and supporting adaptability and continuous learning.

The position provides decision support by sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data; assessing business trends and initiatives; translating analyses into recommendations aligned with business objectives; and collaborating across functions to develop processes and strategies. It manages business-solution implementation through stakeholder partnerships, improvements to site-selection methodology and processes, analysis of initiative work streams, cost-reduction solutions, data-quality oversight, subject-matter expertise, scorecards and tracking mechanisms, store-activation innovations, and collaboration with operations and internal partners to meet metrics through customer service and platform development.

The position is located at 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716. Pay is $90,000–$180,000 per year, with additional annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field and at least 1 year of experience in operations, project management, or a related area; alternatively, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of these fields and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leveraging dashboards and analytical resources, including Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Microsoft Suites.
• Experience partnering with business and analytics teams to define, develop, and deploy key metrics.
• Experience with KPI analysis, operational reviews, and performance reporting.
• Experience developing last-mile delivery business operations mechanisms and governance.
• Experience preparing performance-reporting graphs, charts, and tables for executive business reviews.
• Experience tracking app features and launch readiness and preparing executive-level reports.
• Experience planning and coordinating standups and forums for weekly initiative updates.
• Experience reporting and coordinating key initiatives and using PMP-aligned project and program management methodologies for centralized initiatives and program-level planning.
• Experience prototyping AI/GenAI process improvements and optimization using AI agents such as Copilot or ChatGPT, and developing AI/GenAI prototypes for operational analytics and insight generation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop processes and strategies that support business goals.
• Manage implementation of business solutions by building stakeholder relationships, improving site-selection methodology and processes, and applying cross-functional best practices.
• Analyze initiative work streams, develop cost-reduction solutions, ensure data accuracy, and serve as a subject matter expert on business activities.
• Develop and implement scorecards and tracking mechanisms, create store-activation innovations, and collaborate with operations and internal partners to execute strategies and meet metrics.
• Use customer service and platform development to support execution and business performance.
• Develop operational reporting and analytics, including KPI analysis, executive business-review materials, last-mile delivery governance, and app-feature and launch-readiness tracking.
• Plan and coordinate standups and forums for weekly updates on centralized initiatives.
• Use AI/GenAI prototypes to improve processes, optimize operations, and generate operational analytics and insights.
