The PW100 engine program is powering regional turboprop aircraft which help connecting people and economies around the world. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil, and is exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree with 10 to 15 years’ experience
  • Master degree with 6 to 10 years’ experience
  • Field of studies: Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong project management skills
  • Business sense is a key competency in this role
  • Good technical, product knowledge (engines)
  • Background with engine repair / overhaul process
  • Previous direct customer / OEM experience
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
  • Occasional business trips
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of the employment offer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new aftermarket business models, through game-changing strategies for new product and service experience.
  • Interface directly with OEMs, partner and suppliers to ensure alignment on shared objectives and a unified approach toward achieving common goals
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, business development and customer service subject matter experts and strategy owners to define, monitor and influence new engine programs deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with OEM Product Support Agreements, proactively managing commitments and mitigating risk.
  • Lead the management of product and commercial offerings, including DPHM services, retrofit programs, in-service product campaigns, and commercial support initiatives.
  • Oversee programs’ warranty and concession management, ensuring effective resolution, cost control, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support financial reviews and develop strategies to improve business performance.
  • Accountable for engine operating cost optimization
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and act as a market subject matter expert to drive alignment cross-functionally and provide insights to shape product strategy and drive commercial decisions.
  • Represent enterprise-wide business needs and advocate for strategic priorities across the organization
  • Align organizations with a vertical view of the market – Cross Value Stream
  • Leverage digital connectivity to monitor engine performance, enabling predictive analytics, proactive and personalized support.
  • Develop business cases and manage aftermarket budgets to support program objectives
