This role is for a Project Portfolio Manager (TI) who is passionate about governance, performance, and value creation. The position is split between managing the IT project portfolio and direct project delivery in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment. This individual will play a key role as an orchestrator of the project portfolio while leading several strategic initiatives. Sanimax is a company deeply involved in the circular economy, renewing over 2 million tons of organic residues annually. Their mission is to reclaim, renew, and return resources to optimize their use, creating new products from unwanted leftovers. Requirements

  • Experience in IT project or portfolio management in a medium-sized IT environment.
  • Excellent command of project management fundamentals (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Experience with collaboration and/or project management tools.
  • Ability to produce dashboards, portfolio summaries, and presentations for management.
  • Good understanding of general IT concepts (infrastructure, SaaS, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret project data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Collaborative and service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of organization, prioritization, and follow-up.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve the IT project portfolio, ensuring information is up-to-date, accurate, and well-structured.
  • Facilitate the needs assessment, analysis, and prioritization process in collaboration with IT management and business partners.
  • Coordinate portfolio-level governance routines (monthly reviews, status updates, risk summaries).
  • Produce clear and concise reports for management (dashboards, performance indicators, progress status, capacity, and workload).
  • Ensure high-level financial monitoring of the portfolio (budgets, forecasts, variances), in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Monitor cross-project risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating them as needed.
  • Support project managers and technical leads by removing administrative obstacles, aligning practices, or facilitating decision-making.
  • Maintain lightweight PMO tools and templates to support consistent and efficient delivery.
  • Identify and propose targeted process improvements (e.g., clearer dashboards, simplified templates, better-defined entry criteria).
  • Simultaneously lead several small to medium-sized IT projects across different business domains.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and communications.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams (architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, business analysis) and business partners.
  • Develop project plans, prepare communications for stakeholders, and perform basic financial tracking.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and transfer activities to support teams.
  • Manage external vendors and partners for projects under their responsibility.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT processes (security, change management, documentation).
  • Lightly maintain and enhance key templates, checklists, and frameworks used for IT project delivery.
  • Support basic administration and updates of PPM or collaboration tools.
  • Recommend concrete and progressive improvements to reports, workflows, and governance mechanisms, based on observed field needs.
  • Ensure project management practices remain aligned with key IT processes (e.g., change management), without being responsible for full ITIL/ITSM integration.
