About The Position

Viceroy Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Temporary Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing for an anticipated six-month assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The role is based at the Viceroy Hotels Corporate Office in New York and is expected to support approximately 30–40 hours per week. The Senior Manager will work closely with the VP, Growth & Digital, leading lifecycle campaigns and supporting digital marketing initiatives from acquisition and discovery through booking, pre-arrival, and repeat stays. Email, SMS, and CRM are central areas of ownership, including the Klaviyo rollout and lifecycle roadmap. The role also supports affiliate marketing, SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), digital reporting, and website conversion initiatives. The manager will plan campaigns, coordinate with property teams and agencies, and personally build, test, and launch initiatives, moving between strategy, analysis, and hands-on execution. The position develops lifecycle strategy and CRM processes across the brand and its properties; builds and optimizes campaigns and automated guest journeys; coordinates campaign calendars and property execution; and maintains reporting, testing, and optimization across digital channels. It also supports affiliate, search visibility, website, and booking-journey improvements, manages assigned digital projects, and uses AI and automation to improve marketing execution while maintaining accuracy, brand standards, and responsible handling of guest data. Success in the role includes establishing a clear lifecycle roadmap; launching and continuously improving core email, SMS, and transactional journeys; maintaining a coordinated campaign calendar with property accountability; providing actionable reporting tied to business results; delivering digital initiatives against agreed priorities; and documenting scalable processes and AI-assisted workflows.

  • Advanced practical AI skills, with examples of workflows or automations built beyond basic copy generation.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with GA4, marketing dashboards, and performance reporting.
  • Working knowledge of affiliate marketing, SEO, and AI search visibility, with the ability to coordinate specialists and move projects forward.
  • Excellent project management, writing, and quality-control skills.
  • Confidence working directly with property teams and balancing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • A commercial mindset and a track record of improving conversion, retention, or customer lifetime value.

  • Maintain reporting across email, SMS, affiliate, website, and other digital channels, providing insights and recommended actions for corporate and property teams.
  • Track conversion, direct revenue, repeat bookings, database growth, and channel efficiency; evaluate attribution and compare CRM results with GA4.
  • Identify tracking and data-quality gaps and work with technical partners to resolve them across marketing platforms and the booking journey.
  • Translate performance trends into a prioritized testing plan across messaging, audiences, offers, landing pages, and booking experiences.
  • Maintain campaign operations, including consent, suppressions, deliverability, tracking, and quality assurance; adapt HTML/CSS templates and dynamic content as needed.
